Larry Kaye

Larry Kaye is a 1991 graduate of the Washington College of Law at the American University in Washington, D.C.

Following graduation from law school, Larry clerked for the Honorable Christine O’Dell Cook Miller of the United States Claims Court. In 1992, Larry became a sole practitioner with an emphasis on civil rights and employment law. Representing primarily plaintiffs, Larry has tried multiple complex litigation cases, resulting in a record of 100% favorable jury verdicts in Maryland. He has been on the front lines of Maryland appellate practice —  with cases resulting in opinions from the Maryland appellate courts on substantive and novel issues of employment law and civil rights.

From 1993 to 1997, Larry was an adjunct faculty member of the Washington College of Law, teaching legal writing and research. He has been a speaker on radio and national television in the United States and Canada, on issues pertaining to employment law and civil rights. He teaches litigation best practices to attorneys through his company, The Winning Litigator. In 2008, Larry was named Attorney of the Year by the Washington affiliate of the National Employment Lawyers Association.

Larry regularly consults with and advises other attorneys on methods of being more effective in the courtroom.  He regularly conducts jury research for clients and is a member of the American Society of Trial Consultants.

Larry has always had a love of theater. Prior to going to law school, Larry went to graduate school for training towards a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theater.  While an attorney, Larry became involved with theatrical producing beginning in 2009. He has twice been nominated for Tony Awards as a Producer of the revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying starring Daniel Radcliffe and John Larroquette, and American Idiot, a rock musical based on the music of Green Day.
